Welcome to the 2014-2015 school year! The TBS PTO is excited to host our very first General meeting of the year. It is our goal as a Board to offer themed meetings highlighting pressing issues or current events taking place in our Thompson Brook Community.

Happily, our first meeting will offer you just that. We are hosting a Fingerprinting Service in the Cafeteria from 6:30-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 16th. If you intend to chaperone your child’s field trips at all this year, fingerprints are required to be filed by law. This applies to all Avon schools. So, get fingerprinted once and have it set for all of your children’s schools. This is a fantastic opportunity for at-home and working parents, alike, to check this off the “To-Do” list.

Please, bring a legal photo ID (Driver’s License or Passport) and $30 in cash. A check for $15 will also be needed to process the cards. Please, make the check out to “Treasurer – State of CT”.

We will also have a table to sign up to volunteer with us this year. Even though our children are older now, there are many ways to be involved – please click here for a list of opportunities.
