Please join us for our first PTO meeting of the year on Thursday, September 29, 2016. Choose between a morning gathering from 9-10 OR an evening gathering from 6-7, both with our Principal, Mike Renkawitz! These will be informal meetings to introduce yourself, ask questions, drop off your One & Done Fundraiser checks and volunteer forms, and learn more about what’s going on for our children at TBS this year.
In addition, we will be offering finger printing from 6-8 p.m. in conjunction with the evening meeting. Save yourself a trip to the Avon Police Department and get your prints done. If you plan on volunteering in any Avon Schools and do not have your finger prints on file, it is your responsibility to have this requirement completed. As a convenience to our parents, the TBS PTO has hired a finger printing company to come to our school. Please see the attached flyer for more details and remember to bring your checkbook (cash and credit cards NOT accepted). We appreciate your compliance with this important district policy.
One & Done Fundraiser. Are you One & Done? Please help us reach our goal and submit your donation to the front office by October 15, 2016. There will be no other fundraising this year. Money raised will help with our teacher appreciation luncheons, Hartford stage programs scheduled for March, Spring musical support, and many other school initiatives. Keep an eye out for the paper form coming home with students this week, or download and print it from our website.
We Need Volunteers. Thank you to those who have submitted volunteer forms to us! Please review our volunteer form and see where you can help out at TBS. There are many areas where we still need assistance, including opportunities in school or helping out from home. Recess and Library Volunteers are needed ASAP, as well as a Book Fair Chair for our early December fair.
