Welcome Back to School!

On behalf of the Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) Executive Board, it is our pleasure to introduce you or welcome your return to Thompson Brook School and the TBS PTO. We hope that everyone had an amazing summer and you are ready for great school year at TBS!

The TBS PTO provides teacher and staff support including copying help, staff appreciation celebrations, and recycling program coordination. The PTO also supports our parents and students by hosting a fall book fair, organizing the TBS Musical, and planning 5th grade field day and 6th grade end of year student events. We hope you’ll join us at our quarterly meetings to learn more about what is happening at TBS and in our school district this year. Dates and times, along with meeting agendas, will be announced via our TBS POST.

One & Done. Have you heard about it? This will be the one and only fundraiser this year at TBS. Unlike the multiple fundraisers that you have been used to at PGS and RBS (e.g., Charleston Wrap, 31 Bags, spring socials, and movie nights), One & Done takes away all the time and hassle of selling and buying. Please take a minute to review the program details — all donations collected will be used to support and enhance the school year experience for our teachers and students.

TBS POST. Our weekly TBS POST will be our main way of communication with you, and be sent out from the front office via School Messenger. Additionally, all information will also be posted here on our website, and please follow us on Facebook.

Activities. Our VP Activities chairs have been selecting and organizing some amazing after school activities for your children. All information and sign-ups for our activities this year will be organized through Sign Up Genius. Please CLICK HERE to see a list of all Fall activities, including flyers for each activity and links to sign up.

Volunteer Opportunities. There are several opportunities for you, as parents and guardians, to come into school and help the TBS staff and teachers. Copy center support, library volunteer, and room parents/team liaisons are at the top of that list, offering you flexibility in your schedule to come and help as you are able and would like to volunteer. Other opportunities involve chairing or joining a committee.
